Good ‘ol Jerry Brown, grabbed the cell phones and tore ‘em down.

I have to admit I like this, and the gravy is they are supposed to time the turning off so as not lose money on contract fines. Who would have suspected the government had that much common sense? We will save 20 million dollars that we should not have been spending in the first place. Get your own phones like the rest of us, greased piglets. Can’t pin them down or catch them. What about our legislators buying and driving vehicles at taxpayers’ expense? Any make or model and no price ceiling. The gasoline alone could keep ten High Schools open and all the state flags flying. Why do these preMadonna’s get cars anyway, they voted them in for themselves. California is the only state that pays for legislator’s vehicles and gas and insurance. Make them pay or take the cars away Jerry.

It’s the same as them giving themselves raise’s every year, and per diem days just for showing up at work, or not. They are shameless. This looks like a good spot to rant on, drum roll, pensions. My favorite nightmare, brewed up by all the various witches and warlocks governing the people and their minion organizations that they are supposed to be watching. Everybody in government employment including elected officials, firemen, police, government agency workers and many more that will retire on the public dime have pensions substantially higher the their public counter parts. Plus most will have health care for life. If we object to the injustice they scream ‘I got a contract, I deserve 150K a year, touch me and I’m gonna sue!’ So what do we do?

We pass a law to end the political insanity. Shrink the bloated pensions. These people are not royalty; they deserve no better than us. Abolish pork. Pull the Social Security from people who bring home other retirement over 100K. Bring home half our troops in Germany and Guam. Many will cry ‘Socialism!’ We the people are the government and mandated to provide for the welfare of the population. This is not socialism, its survival.

  1. I've often believed those on SS should not receive it if they have incomes over a certain amount. 100K sounds reasonable. I recall a TV show yrs. ago where a host asked a panel of retirees if they would forgo their SS checks, even though they did not need them. These folks were WEALTHY. Everyone of them, to a person, insisted that they deserved that money and would not consider giving it up. Most of them, at that time, would have hardly paid anything into. They were certainly getting a way better payout compared to what they paid in. GREEDY BASTARDS!

  2. 335, I may of seen that show. Either way I know that what you say is true. These wealthy people believe they deserve the money because they 'earned it.' They did not, SS was set up back in Franklins time and the math used for the fomula was death at age 60. So these people are recieving 2 to 3 times more then is thiers.
